Say it ain’t so, Joe, there you go again, pointin backwards again... yaknow doggone it yabetcha donchaknow uh-huh

It gives me no joy to say that Bible Spice wiped the floor with Senator MBNA last night. I could only bear to listen, though, and some people say she was obviously reading. Her answers were canned, not to the point, and faux-folksy… and it ain’t gonna matter.

She just had to survive. She did.

I dunno, I really didn’t think she did all that well. She absolutely refused to answer questions, and wasn’t even skilled enough to PRETEND to address the issues Ifill was bringing up. She lost her place repeatedly and did a lot of flailing.

LOVE bible spice, though! That’s classic.

No, I hear ya. I just expected her to do much more of a deer-in-the-headlights thing, and she didn’t, so win. I think for the most part (like I said on your FB) the blind-men-with-an-elephant thing guides people’s reactions. You think she’s a bubblehead, there was adequate proof of that. If you think she’s really smart underneath it all, well, she could pronounce “Ahmedinejad.”

Looks like most people (by the poll numbers) liked Biden, and things are still trending Obama’s way. It is October, though. Lots of Surprises could be in store…
